Working with watercolour and gouache is inspiring and helps me to explore new ideas and push boundaries. A world of possibilities has opened up for me.
The transparency and luminosity of some of the watercolours is stunning. Gouache offers bold opaque colours that dry to a matte finish. Sometimes all that a watercolour painting needs is a touch of gouache.

Étude qui servira à la création d’un tableau à l’huile.
L’aquarelle et la gouache m’inspirent et je m’aperçois que je suis plus curieuse et audacieuse dans l’exploration de mes idées. Un univers fabuleux s’ouvre à moi.
Les couleurs transparentes et lumineuses de l’aquarelle sont superbes. Quant, à la gouache, elle offre des couleurs puissantes et opaques qui sèchent avec un fini mat. Parfois, il suffit d’ajouter une touche de gouache pour compléter une aquarelle.

This study is a preparatory work for a larger oil painting to be done later this year.
Lately I have been working with watercolour and gouache and I am having a blast. Also, my acrylic paints are impatiently waiting to show off what they can do.
2022 will be a year of exploration and discovery for me and I wonder with excitement where it will lead. Total commitment and discipline required!

Cette étude servira à la création d’un tableau à l’huile cette année.
Ces temps-ci, je travaille avec l’aquarelle et la gouache et je suis enchantée. De plus, ma peinture à l’acrylique attend impatiemment que je l’utilise pour me montrer ce dont elle est capable.
2022 sera pour moi une année d’exploration et de découvertes. Je suis impatiente et curieuse de voir où cela m’amènera. Engagement total et discipline sont obligatoires !
